Important Update: New Rates + Online Booking Now Available!

Hey everyone! I have a couple of important updates to share.

First, my hourly rate has officially increased from $45 to $60 per hour to better reflect local pricing and to ensure I can continue offering top-quality specialty haircare for you and your locks. I've also added an off-hour convenience fee of $100 for those who need an appointment outside my regular availability. Life happens, and I want to make sure I can accommodate those last-minute needs when possible!

On a more exciting note--my online booking system is finally back up and running! You can now schedule your maintenance appointments anytime at hagcraft.setmore.com without needing to contact me first. Super easy, and wayyyy more convenient for all of us for sure!

And as always, my loyalty discounts for returning clients on root maintenance are still in place--I could never forget those of you who've supported me over the years and will always do what I can to show you how much I appreciate you!

Officially Located in Novi, Michigan

As of last Saturday I am officially in my new location here in the Novi / Wixom area!

As of right now I will be steadily unpacking and getting the salon space back together, once I'm set up appropriately I will begin setting everyone up with appointments again but I'm shooting to start up again before the end of February. So if you're looking to get scheduled please do not hesitate to send me an email so I can start that process.

I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone for being so patient with me during this transition, it was a big move for me this time around but I'm looking forward to being in a bigger city moving forward!

Removal of Social Media

Over the last few months many of you may have noticed that my activity on social media has been slowly dwindling. As of this week I will no longer be reachable via social media for booking as I've deactivated most of my accounts and will no longer be utilizing Facebook as a platform for my business. As things change over these next few months I'm finding it to be too overwhelming to monitor several different places that I would typically receive inquiries from and I'm doing my best to funnel everything to one place from here forward.

This will be the only place you will be able to find updates about Hagcraft happenings and the like from here forward. If you need to get in touch with me directly to book an appointment, or to ask a question I will only be reachable via email from here on (which has always been the most consistent way to get a hold of me).

As for appointments through the end of the year...

I will be scheduling appointments for 2025 starting in January once the holiday season calms down for us all, but it will again be interrupted when I make my move down towards Novi. Once I'm booking appointments again I will be sure to let everyone know by making a new post here on this blog, so make sure to either follow the blog to stay up to date as I will no longer be making announcements on my personal social media accounts when the availability releases.

Making Moves in 2025

There's a new beginning on the horizon!

I'm here and excited to share some big news as we close out 2024 -- I'll be relocating from the Mid-Michigan area to Detroit metro, specifically I'll be moving to the Novi area! This move marks a new chapter for me and my business as I continue to ease myself into new ways of living. However, even with all the excitement bustling it's still a bittersweet decision for me. As many of you have come to learn, I've always loved being a part of Mid-Michigan and the Flint area, and leaving behind the incredible clients, friends and community that have supported me is definitely an emotional decision I've had to make.

As I go through this transition, I want to assure all my current clients that you'll be the first to know once I have a specific location in/near Novi secured. Your continued support means the world to me, and I'm committed to providing the same personalized, high-quality services you've all come to expect over the last 17+ years. I thank you all for being a part of this beautiful journey with me--I can't wait to see what the future holds for Hagcraft, myself, and this next chapter ahead!

New Clients wanting an Install:
Either an in-person or video consultation is required prior to any natural lock or lock extension service. All consultations are free and informational only. Consultations are never on the same day of installation. Once your consultation is complete you will be provided with a private booking link to book online at your convenience.

New Clients wanting Maintenance:
Either an in-person or video consultation is required prior to any new client maintenance service. All consultations are free and informational only and are intended to make sure I'm the right fit for you as a stylist. Consultations are never on the same day of your maintenance service. Once your consultation is complete you will be able to book your maintenance appointment.

Frequent Return Clients:
These are regular maintenance clients who return for routine maintenance services every 2-3 months. While I do still require a deposit to book, for those who do their best to keep up on their roots I like to provide a little discount to show how much I appreciate the love you show your hair.

For all other Maintenance Clients:
Maybe its been a minute since you've been in and things are looking like it might take a little longer in the chair. I've now switched to a basic hourly pricing so you can choose how much maintenance you want done. If you're unsure, always choose the option with the greatest amount of time just in case.
